In tribute to my friend Niamh, and in memory of all the shiny beings whose light changes our lives.
Lovely...
Thank you. So was she. I hope you and your peeps are doing okay today. Thinking of you.
Doing OK; not the best week, obviously. Trying to come to grips with a household sans some doggies.
It's a hard transition, one that will be capped by Luke's move to VA Tech. That part gets easier, as you watch them thriving out there in the world, but my mama's heart feels the painful tug of separation with you. <3
So powerful.....spiritually lifting...
Niamh was a powerfully spiritual being - I'm glad to know these words convey that in some way. Thanks, Barry.
Beautiful
Thank you, Sara. Appreciate you making time to comment.
I can feel the humid heat, taste the peaches and see the moon!
What a beautiful homage for your friend💛
Grateful for this comment, Stacey. I'll be looking at the full moon tomorrow with her in my heart.
Sweet..
Feeling so here, there, close by as I read this. Thank you for it.
Maybe that's how it is. Always everywhere. If we're open to the idea... <3
A beautiful tribute!
And, delicious memories. Thank you, Margaret.
Beautiful poem for a beautiful person and friend
She leaves a giant vacancy, but what a privilege to have been able to share what she had to give while she was here. Thanks, Sarah. <3
Beautiful!
Thank you, Gloria, for reading and taking time to comment.
Lovely meter, sumptuous sonics. I read it several times over, as one should do for the taste of a great poem. Kudos!
Thank you, Stewart. It's not my usual form, but the friend to whom it was dedicated somehow evoked it. Appreciate the affirmation.
