Grow little spuds grow! I was just talking yesterday with the Mom of Luke’s potential roommate next year in college about how hard it is to grow ANYTHING in my yard because of the good ole NC clay…ugh!! Good luck, roomie!! I’m rooting for a good outcome for your efforts!!
If anyone has a ‘green thumb’ or simply the love of producing one’s own food, it’s you, Elizabeth! Sorry to hear of the deforestation next door, but glad you can enjoy the new found light.

I feel the pain of that unwelcoming soil! Raised beds for the win. Thanks for always being a cheerleader. :)

Silver linings -- or green? Thanks, Deb!
Made me smile...and then give thanks...
A lovely combination. Goes well with potatoes. :)
Was just looking at a similar bag of potatoes n thinking abt throwing them in the ground as an experiment! Tater-cavatee… 🤣🤣😘❤️
We can experiment together!!
I have a chunk of purple sweet potato rooting and leafing in a jar on the windowsill at the moment. Can't wait to plant and see what happens!
I love growing sweet potatoes and have had good success with them in containers the past several years. Did you know you can eat the greens? :)
I do know that but I haven't gotten up my nerve to do so yet. What's your favorite way to prepare them?
Just a simple saute, like spinach.
